Images of Cattitude Photo Contest Rules
Your cat photographs and/or video clip submissions must be ones in which you are
the actual photographer or videographer, or have permission from the
professional to enter the image. If you are
not 18 years or older, an adult needs to
submit your entry.
The cat depicted need not be
your own. The entered photos & video clips that include this particular kitty can also
include other animals, persons, etc., so utilized to express your selected
feline emotion/characteristic.
Your entire, completed entry
needs to be sent to foundation @ landofpuregold.com.
One entry can be submitted for each cat you plan to enter, and the
following rules apply to all submissions and voting.
High resolution photographs should be sent in
jpg files. They should have good focus and definition. While the digital sizing is not a factor
in the 72dpi online screen display of
entries, only those entries submitted in
a large enough format can be considered
for a special printing in our greeting
card line (11" x 8.5" sized; 150dpi). We do reserve the
right to refuse any entry that does not
meet these criteria, or is of poor
quality. Provide the following sentence, completing it by filling in the 3 blanks: When you come to the word
(choice
from list of 49) in the dictionary
of all things CAT, my image of (name
of cat) is
used for illustration . . . and this is why:

Entries must
provide the following ID information: cat's name
and sex and your
name,
home
address,
contact email & phone number. All photographs
entered become the property of the Land
of PureGold Foundation, and we reserve
the right to digitally enhance any
images to improve their
clarity, impact, or aesthetics.
We also
reserve the right to utilize any
submitted image on the Land of PureGold
Foundation website and products.
By submitting an entry, the entrant
grants the Land of PureGold Foundation
the right to use the photo as mentioned
above without compensation or
permission. The
copyright, however, will remain with the
photographer, and photo credit will be
given when possible. Contest
winners will be notified by email within
two weeks of the contest's conclusion, and
will be posted online as well. The Land of
PureGold Foundation reserves
the right to modify these rules at any
time without providing prior
notification.
